Dayle Named Big Ten Female Track Athlete of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference released its weekly track & field awards on Wednesday. Graduate sprinter Yanique Dayle was named Big Ten Female Track Athlete of the Week for the first time.
Dayle earned both relay and individual wins last weekend at the Jesse Owens Classic. Dayle ran the fastest time in the 100m in both the prelims (11.59) and finals (11.37). She also contributed to the winning 4x100m relay (44.21), as she’s a member of OSU’s ‘A’ squad that ranks seventh in the country this season. This is Dayle’s second win each in the 100m and the 4x100m relay this season.
