
New Process To Claim A Free Ticket Implemented at Buckeye Field

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Department of Athletics will implement a new ticket reservation system for the softball Buckeyes’ six remaining Big Ten weekend games. Those games are:
- April 21 vs. Purdue – 6 p.m.
- April 22 vs. Purdue – 2 p.m.
- April 23 vs. Purdue – 1 p.m.
- April 28 – vs. Minnesota – 6 p.m.
- April 29 – vs. Minnesota – 2 p.m.
- April 30 – vs. Minnesota – Noon
While admission to Buckeye Field will continue to be free, fans will be asked to reserve a ticket to ensure entry to the stadium. This process will be done online and mobile tickets will be managed through the Ohio State Buckeyes app, which is available for download through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Seating will continue to be general admission. Each guest will be able to claim up to 8 tickets per game.

Ohio State students do not need to claim tickets. A limited amount of tickets will be available for them to claim at the gate by showing their Buck ID. Children under two years old do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent/guardian’s lap.
Ohio State has two home weekend series left on its 2023 schedule. On April 21-23, the Buckeyes will host Purdue and the following weekend, April 28-30, they face Minnesota. The ticket reservation process will not be in place for Ohio State’s lone remaining midweek game on April 18 vs. Youngstown State. For a full schedule, CLICK HERE.
