Five Under Par Through 36 Holes of Colleton River Collegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior Adam Wallin fired rounds of 68-69 and is tied for seventh at 7-under par through 36 holes of the Colleton River Collegiate at the Colleton River Club.
As a team, all five members of the scoring five are under-par through two rounds. Ohio State is one of just four teams in the field with all five players in the red headed to Tuesday’s final round. The Buckeyes shot rounds of 277 and 284 to sit at 15-under par.
Wallin, the defending champion at the event, is just four shots off the individual lead. He made five birdies in each of his rounds and now has five rounds in the 60s this season.
Maxwell Moldovan carded a round of under-par rounds, 71-70, and is tied for 36th at 3-under par. He has now fired eight consecutive rounds at par or better.
JonErik Alford opened the tournament with a 3-under 69 and came home with a 73 to finish at 2-under par and tied for 40th. Jackson Chandler and Neal Shipley are each tied for 47th at 1-under par. Chandler played the par-3s at 3-under par, which was tied for the best in the field.
Patrick Schmucking, who is playing as an individual and making his season debut, rebounded from a 75 in the morning to post a 2-under 70, making five birdies in his second round.
The Buckeyes will start the final round at 9 a.m. off the back nine on Tuesday morning.
