She one-timed it past Soderberg to bring the Buckeye lead to two goals.
- Ohio State goaltender Amanda Thiele posted one of her best games of the year, holding the Bulldogs scoreless for 57:12 and kept the Bulldogs off the board through two periods, including a flurry of shots five minutes into the second frame to keep the game knotted at 0-0.
- Minnesota Duluth pulled Soderberg with 3:47 minutes to play, and took advantage of the 6-on-5 situation to put one past Thiele at 17:12.
