
Buckeyes Win 200 Medley Relay on First Night of B1G Championships

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 5 Buckeyes earned two top-four finishes on the first night of the Big Ten Championships. Ohio State won the 200 medley relay and placed fourth in the 800 free relay.

- The Buckeyes opened the night with an exciting win in the 200 medley relay, setting a Canham Natatorium pool record. The relay team of Nyah Funderburke, Hannah Bach, Katherine Zenick and Teresa Ivan finished in an NCAA A standard time of 1:33.95, the third-fastest time in program history and over two seconds faster than the second-place Wolverines. The time was just 0:00.31 seconds shy of the Big Ten Championships’ record of 1:33.64, which was set by Bach, Zenick, Ivan and Emily Crane last year.

- Ohio State placed fourth in the 800 free relay. Felicia Pasadyn, Paige Hall, Ivan and Amy Fulmer finished in an NCAA B cut time of 7:02.48, which is the fifth-fastest time in program history.

- The Buckeyes are in second place overall with 116 points, just two points behind first-place Indiana.
