Hentschel Earns Second Straight B1G Diver of the Week Honor

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Lena Hentschel was named the Big Ten Diver of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday. This is Hentschel's second straight Diver of the Week honor; she also earned weekly conference honors on Nov. 1 after an impressive performance against Virginia Tech to open the season.
Hentschel helped the No. 5 Buckeyes to a dominant 222.5-77.5 victory over Akron on Friday, Nov. 3 at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
Hentschel, who has won all her diving events so far this season, was victorious on both the 1-meter and the 3-meter boards. She scored a 358.05 on the 1-meter and a 365.85 on the 3-meter. Both are NCAA Zones qualifying scores.
The Buckeyes return to McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion to host the Denison Big Red on Friday, Nov. 10 at 5:00 p.m.
