Boyle, Hall Claim Big Ten Weekly Honors

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Janie Boyle and Paige Hall have collected weekly Big Ten honors, announced by the conference on Wednesday. Boyle has been named the Diver of the Week and Hall is the Swimmer of the Week.
This is Boyle's first conference award as a Buckeye. She was instrumental in Ohio State's 180-108 dual meet victory over Denison last week, winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. On the 1-meter, Boyled scored a 306.90 and on the 3-meter, she recorded an overall score of 313.87. Both are NCAA Zones qualifying scores.
Hall claims the first Big Ten weekly award of her career. Against the Big Red, she won the 100 free with a time of 51.37 and placed second in the 100 back with a time of 55.21. She was also on the second-place 200 medley relay team that finished in 1:45.42. Hall was an exhibition swimmer for the 200 IM, but she turned in the fastest time, a 2:01.68.
The Buckeyes are back in action this week when they host the Ohio State Fall Invitational at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion Nov. 16-18.
