COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State (5-6-5, 3-4-1) ended the regular season with a resounding 4-1 home win over Maryland (4-8-3, 0-6-2) Sunday on Senior Day at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
Â
How it Happened
The Buckeyes had several opportunities early but it was Maryland that scored the first goal of the match.
Â
The Terrapins hit the mark in the 21st minute after a corner kick bounced around and found the foot of Bjarne Theisen right out front to give Maryland the 1-0 lead.
Â
The Buckeyes tied it at 1-all on an Andre Roberts header from a Michael Adedokun assist in the 44' to send Ohio State into the locker room with momentum.
