COLUMBUS, Ohio – In a battle of Top 5 programs, No. 3 Michigan (12-0, 9-0) scored a pair of second-half touchdowns to take a 31-20 lead early in the fourth quarter and went on to defeat No. 2 Ohio State (11-1, 8-1) 45-23 Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
C.J. Stroud connected on 31-of-48 passing attempts for 349 yards and two touchdowns. Chip Trayanum led Ohio State on the ground with 14 carries for 83 yards.
Emeka Egbuka led the Ohio State receiving corps with nine catches for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Tommy Eichenberg led the Ohio State defense with seven tackles and five solos.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 2 Ohio State (10-0, 7-0) used a balanced offensive effort to power through light snow and windy conditions to defeat Indiana (3-7, 1-6) 56-14 Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
C.J. Stroud threw for 297 yards on 17-of-28 efficiency and five touchdowns. The Buckeyes finished with 662 yards of total offense on the day, which included 340 on the ground.
Miyan Williams carried 15 times for 147 yards and a score. Dallan Hayden added 102 yards on 19 carries while Xavier Johnson rushed one time for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Marvin Harrison Jr. caught seven balls for 135 yards and one score. Cade Stover had three receptions, two for touchdowns, for 45 yards.
Steele Chambers led the Buckeyes with 10 tackles with five solos. Seven of Lathan Ransom’s nine stops were solos.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 2 Ohio State (7-0, 4-0) led 26-10 at the half behind four field goals and then got the offense clicking over the final 30 minutes to defeat visiting Iowa (3-4, 1-3) 54-10 at Ohio Stadium.
C.J. Stroud completed 20-of-30 passes for 286 yards and four second-half touchdowns. Receivers Emeka Egbuka, Marvin Harrison Jr., Julian Fleming and Mitch Rossi each had scoring grabs in the win.
Both Miyan Williams and TreVeyon Henderson had double-digit carries with Williams scoring a first-half touchdown.
Kicker Noah Ruggles converted on all four field goal attempts in the opening half from 46, 41, 35 and 26 yards. He finished the day with 18 points (4 FGs, 6 extra pts.).
Defensively, Ohio State had three interceptions, two by Tanner McCalister and one returned for a score by linebacker Tommy Eichenberg. Latham Ransom lead the way with eight tackles, five solos and a forced fumble.
Overall, Ohio State finished with 360 yards of offense with 294 through the air.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Behind the running of Miyan Williams, No. 3 Ohio State (5-0, 2-0) scored 28 first-half points and added 21 in the second to defeat Rutgers (3-2, 0-2) 49-10 Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
Williams rushed for 189 yards on 21 carries. He became the third Buckeye all-time to score five rushing touchdowns in a game, matching Pete Johnson in 1974 vs. North Carolina and Keith Byars in 1984 vs. Illinois. Johnson rushed for 148 yards on 26 carries vs. the Tar Heels. Byars carried it 39 times for 274 yards vs. the Illini.
The Buckeyes struggled early in each half, giving the Scarlet Knights the ball deep in Ohio State’s territory on a muffed punt in the first half and then started the second with an interception. The turnovers led to all of Rutgers’ 10 points in the game.
C.J. Stroud finished with 154 yards passing, completing 13-of-22 attempts with two touchdowns.
Emeka Egbuka and Julian Fleming each had four catches to lead the receivers. Egbuka led with 70 yards while Fleming had 51 with a score. Marvin Harrison Jr. had three grabs for 18 yards and a touchdown.
Steele Chambers led the defense with 11 tackles, including eight solos, two tackles-for-loss and an interception.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 3 Ohio State (4-0, 1-0) built a 31-7 first-half lead on its way to a 52-21 win over Wisconsin (2-2, 0-1) Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeyes amassed 539 yards of total offense while holding Wisconsin to 296. Quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 17-of-27 passes for 281 yards and five touchdowns. Ohio State’s rushing attack was equally successful with a pair or 100-yard rushers.
TreVeyon Henderson led the ground game with 121 yards on 21 carries. Miyan Williams scored twice and carried the ball 11 times for 101 yards.
Stroud spread the ball around through the air, connecting with four receivers while none had more than six grabs. Emeka Egbuka lead with 118 yards on six catches and two scores. Julian Fleming had four grabs for 67 yards and a touchdown. Cade Stover scored twice with four catches for 51 yards, all in the first half.
Defensively, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg led the way with 14 tackles, seven solos and two tackles-for-loss.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 3 Ohio State (3-0) scored touchdowns on 11-of-12 possessions before running out the clock to end the game to down intrastate foe Toledo (2-1) 77-21 Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
Offensively, C.J. Stroud completed 22-of-27 passes for 367 yards and five touchdowns while Kyle McCord connected on 5-of-7 passes for 115 yards and a score in relief.
On the receiving end, Emeka Egbuka led with seven catches for 116 yards and a score. Marvin Harrison Jr. contributed six catches for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Jayden Ballard caught four tosses for 113 yards and a score.
Rushing-wise, Dallan Hayden rushed 17 times for 108 yards and a touchdown, and Miyan Williams carried 10 times for 77 yards. Overall, the Buckeyes rushed for 281 yards and five touchdowns.
Ohio State’s offense accumulated 763 yards of offense with 482 coming through the air. Ohio State converted on 11-of-13 third down opportunities, averaging 9.8 yards per play.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 3 Ohio State (2-0) found the end zone six times with an added field goal to down visiting Arkansas State (1-1) 45-12 Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud teamed with receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., for three touchdowns while running back TreVeyon Henderson added a pair of scores on 10 carries covering 87 yards on the day.
Stroud finished with four TD passes and completed 16 of 24 attempts for 351 yards. Harrison Jr. had seven receptions for 184 yards and three TDs.
The Buckeyes put up 538 yards of offense while holding the Red Wolves to a total of 276.
Steele Chambers led Ohio State with six tackles, four solos, a sack and tackle-for-loss.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 2 Ohio State (1-0) scored a third-quarter touchdown to take the lead and added another score in the fourth to defeat No. 5 Notre Dame (0-1) 21-10 in an early-season battle at Ohio Stadium.
After the Buckeyes took the lead in the third, Notre Dame punted on its fifth-consecutive possession early in the fourth quarter, giving the Buckeyes the ball on the Irish 5-yard line.
Behind the running of Miyan Williams, the Buckeyes went 95 yards on 14 plays to put the game away on a 2-yard Williams touchdown rush to give Ohio State a 21-10 lead. Williams finished the game with 84 yards on 14 carries and a score. TreVeyon Henderson led the running backs with 91 yards on 15 carries.
C.J. Stroud completed 24 of 34 passing attempts for 223 yards and two touchdowns. Emeka Egbuka led the receivers with nine catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Defensively, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg paced the Buckeyes with nine tackles, three for loss and a pair of sacks.
Ohio State will continue its stretch of five consecutive home games to start the season against Arkansas State at noon next Saturday at Ohio Stadium, which is celebrating its 100th year as the home of the Buckeyes in 2022. The game will be televised by Big Ten Network.
