
Buckeyes Survive Windy Round 2 of B1G Championship

COLUMBUS, Ohio – On a windy blown Saturday at the Big Ten Championship, Ohio State carded a round of 306 and is in 12th place headed into Sunday’s final round.
Sophomore Maxwell Moldovan had the round of the day for the Buckeyes, making four birdies and posting a 1-over 73. He is tied for 22nd at 3-over par.
Marco Steyn followed his opening round 70 with a 78 on Saturday and is a shot behind Moldovan at 4-over par. JonErik Alford posted a second consecutive round of 78 and is 12-over through 36 holes.
Adam Wallin had a tough opening round of 81 and was 8-over par through his first eight holes on Saturday. He then birdied the par-5 18th, his ninth hole of the day, and would play the final 10 holes at 3-under par to post a 77. Patrick Schmucking rounded out the Buckeye five with an 84.
The Buckeyes will begin the final round off the back nine at 8:45 a.m. ET. They are paired with Michigan and Nebraska. Golfstat.com will have live scoring of the entire round.
