Steyn Shoots 67, Buckeyes Move Up at Mason Rudolph

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Marco Steyn carded a 4-under 67 and Ohio State got three under-par rounds on the day to move into fifth place through two rounds of the Mason Rudolph Championship.
Steyn made a total of five birdies on the day, including a closing nine of 32. The 67 is tied for Steyn’s low round of the season. He is now 4-under par and tied for 10th in the tournament.
Maxwell Moldovan continued his streak or rounds at par or better with a 3-under 68. He bogeyed his fourth hole of the day and then played bogey free the rest of the way. Moldovan is 3-under for the tournament and tied for 14th with teammate Jackson Chandler who posted a 1-under 70 on Saturday. Chandler has carded back-to-back under-par rounds for the first time since the first week in September.
Patrick Schmucking, who is playing as an individual this week, followed his opening round 69 with an even-par round of 71 on Saturday and is tied for 21st at 2-under par. Adam Wallin carded a 2-over 73 and JonErik Alford posted a 76 to round out the Buckeye scoring five.
As a team, the Buckeyes are in fifth place at 8-under par. They trail Middle Tennessee State by two shots, Tennessee by five shots for the Top 3.
