Panitz Named B1G Swimmer of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s swimming and diving’s Josie Panitz has been named the Big Ten Women’s Swimmer of the Week following her performances at the Tim Welsh Classic, the conference announced Wednesday.
Panitz had a successful outing in South Bend, Ind. last weekend, sweeping the breaststroke events. She won both the 100-yard (1:01.16) and 200-yard (2:13.43) races in NCAA B cut times.
The award is the first of the Armonk, NY. native’s career.
