COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State pistol team remains undefeated after beating Utah with an Open score of 6,722. The Utes finished the competition with a 6,050 tally.

Utah 6,050 (2,049 air; 2,094 sport; 1,907 standard)
WOMEN:
Ohio State 3,298 (1,635 air; 1,663 sport)
The Open Standard team of Cade Haiby, Henry Leverett, Jackson Leverett and Bernard Melus set a new record by scoring a 2,213. It is the second time this season the Buckeyes have bested their standard record. Individually, Jackson Leverett established the 3-gun aggregate record with a 1,703.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jackson Leverett’s new school record in 3-gun aggregate and personal best in air helped him finish first overall. He swept the competition in every category.
- Katelyn Abeln won the women’s category and placed third overall. She first in sport and air pistol while coming in second in Open sport.
- Henry Leverett finished second overall.
- Ohio State secured the top-5 overall spots.
- Every Buckeye that competed in all three events placed in the top 5.
