
Team Heads West for Hoosier Hills Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After a weekend off last week while the respective cross country teams competed at the Big Ten Conference championships, the Ohio State men’s and women’s track and field teams resume action this week at the Hoosier Hills Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., hosted by Indiana University.
The five-team invite will take place Saturday at the Gladstein Fieldhouse on the IU campus and will feature the Buckeyes, the host Hoosiers and Michigan State, Purdue and Wisconsin. Racing and field events for the women will commence at 11 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., respectively. Men’s action will begin at 3 p.m. (racing) and 3:30 p.m. (field events).
Top Times
Senior Anavia Battle is unbeaten in her two 60-meter and 200-meter races and her time of 23.26 at 200-meters is the fifth-fastest time in the country. Her 60 time of 7.35 ranks 19th.
Allie Guagenti, who shredded her 3,000-meter personal best by over 30 seconds at the Simmons-Harvey Invite in Ann Arbor, has the nation’s 30th-best time in the event at 9:30.22.

Adelaide Aquilla and Divine Oladipo rank ninth and 13th nationally in the shot put with tosses of 16.33m and 16.05m, respectively. Conversions for those throws are 53-7 and 52-8.
