COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State pistol team picked up a pair of wins against Coast Guard and Army. The Buckeyes defeated the competition with an Open score of 6,653. The Bears came in second with a 6,486 tally and the Midshipmen scored a 6,437 to finish third.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ohio State swept the open and women’s categories.
- Jackson Leverett placed first overall. He won air by tying his personal best while coming in second in standard pistol and fourth in sport.
- Katelyn Abeln finished second in the women’s category and fourth overall. She was second in both women’s and open sport pistol, first in air and fourth in standard.
- Amanda Ackerman came in third in the women’s category behind a slew of personal bests.
- The women’s sport pistol team tied the school record with a score of 1,671.
- Sam Gens took second in air pistol.
