
Cantos Siemers Competes at ITA All-Americans

Irina Cantos Siemers of the Ohio State women's tennis team was in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., for the ITA All-American Championships. The Buckeye won two matches before falling in the quarterfinals.
In the Round of 32, Cantos Siemers, ranked seventh and the tournament's No. 4 seed, defeated Florida's No. 64-ranked Marlee Zein, 7-5, 6-2, and in the Round of 16 the Buckeye was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over No. 22 Emma Antonaki of Mississippi State.
In the quarterfinals, the Buckeye fell to South Carolina freshman Sarah Hamner, 6-2, 6-4.
