
Distance Medley Relay Highlights Day One at Jim Green Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s Track and Field program completed the first day at the Jim Green Invite hosted by the University of Kentucky. The Buckeyes’ distance medley relay team finished in first place (11:45.12) to highlight Friday night’s action. Ohio State will have three athletes competing in the 60-meter dash and two in the 60-meter hurdles during round two of each events.
Top Five Finishes
The first-place distance medley relay team consisted of junior’s Aziza Ayoub and Mary Figler, senior Annie Ubbing and freshman Gia Napolean. Their winning time came in 11:45.12.
Second Round Qualifiers
- Kaylyn Heath – 6.58 – 60-meter dash
- Nya Bussey – 7.66 – 60-meter dash
- Morgan Lewis – 7.70 – 60-meter dash and 8.31 – 60-meter hurdles
- Alexus Pyles – 8.18 – 60-meter hurdles
Action continues on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. with the men’s and women’s shot put, triple jump and pole vault. The track events get underway at noon with the 60-meter run. Live results can be found by clicking here.
