PRANGE’S HOT BAT
Third baseman Ashley Prange had her eighth game with multiple hits and RBI. She drove in three of Ohio State’s four runs and was a perfect 2-for-2 with a walk. The New Palestine, Ind. native slugged 2.500 thanks to a solo home run and two-RBI single.

HOW THE RUNS WERE SCORED
- Prange put the Buckeyes on the board in the bottom of the second with a solo sho.
- It was Prange once again in the fifth. Lilli Piper walked and Emily Clark singled before a wild pitch put them both in scoring position. With two outs, Prange hit a two-RBI single to right field, extending the lead to 3-0.
- The Bobcats clawed their way back in the top of the sixth when Alex Day connected on a three-run homer to tie the game.
- Facing two outs, Betschel doubled up the middle in the home half of the frame. With Piper up to bat, Betschel was going on a grounder but a throwing error by the shortstop gave her time to come home, which put Ohio State ahead 4-3.
IN THE CIRCLE
Righty ace Morgan Ray went the distance to secure win No. 11 of the season. She let in five hits and three runs (two earned) while striking out four Bobcats in her 11th complete game.
