This award is her third of the postseason. Murr recently secured second team All-Big Ten and All-Freshman Team honors.
Murr concluded her rookie campaign by leading the Big Ten with 4.90 digs per set. The Yorktown, Ind. native started all 32 matches at libero for the Scarlet & Gray and recorded double-digit digs in 31 outings. She paced the Buckeye defense with 559 digs and a .949 serve reception rate after handling 689 of 726 attempts successfully.
On Sept. 23, Murr pulled double duty as the Big Ten Defensive Player and Co-Freshman of the Week, becoming the first player in the league to claim both honors since 2015. She received her second freshman of the week nod on Nov. 10, making her just the third Buckeye to earn multiple freshman of the week laurels in a season.
