Women’s Volleyball Unveils 2026 Schedule

Ohio State announced its 2026 schedule on Thursday, including both the Big Ten and non-conference slates.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team unveiled its 2026 non-conference schedule on Thursday, in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference's announcement of the 2026 conference slate. Match times and TV designations for Big Ten matches will be announced later.
The Buckeyes will host two weekends inside the Covelli Center and travel the other two weekends during the non-conference slate. Ohio State will face each Big Ten opponent once throughout the season prior to the inaugural Big Ten Tournament, which will take place in Fishers, Ind. from Friday, Nov. 20 through Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Ohio State begins the 2026 season at home, hosting Bowling Green, Fresno State and Northern Kentucky for the Jim Stone Challenge, taking place Friday, Aug. 28 through Sunday, Aug. 30. NKU and Fresno State will begin the weekend on Friday at 3 p.m. with the Buckeyes playing BGSU in their season opener at 6 p.m. On Saturday, NKU and BGSU will play at 1 p.m. with Ohio State and Fresno State scheduled for 4 p.m. The weekend's action wraps up on Sunday with Fresno State vs. BGSU at 11 a.m. and Ohio State vs. NKU at 2 p.m.
The Buckeyes then travel to Norman, Okla. for the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. Ohio State will face Ole Miss on Wednesday, Sept. 2 in Norman at 5 p.m. before playing Oklahoma on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. More information on the Big Ten/SEC Challenge is available HERE.
Ohio State returns home the following weekend to host Southern Indiana, Winthrop and Youngstown State in the Sports Imports Classic. On Friday, Sept. 11, SIU and YSU will play at 3 p.m. followed by Ohio State and Winthrop at 6 p.m. Winthrop and YSU kick off Saturday's action at 1 p.m., while Ohio State and SIU will play at 4 p.m. The Sports Imports Classic wraps up on Sunday, Sept. 13 with Winthrop vs. SIU at 11 a.m. followed by Ohio State vs. YSU at 2 p.m.
The Buckeyes wrap up the non-conference schedule at Virginia on Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19. Friday's match is scheduled for 6 p.m. and Saturday's match is slated at 3 p.m.
