Buckeyes Say Thanks

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s tennis team joined in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee’s campaign focusing on what they are thankful for as Buckeyes. “Thank You Week” is designed for athletes to say thanks for the facilities, teammates, opportunities and more the University, the Buckeye Club and Ohio State alumni provide to aid in their their success.
Here’s what the Buckeyes are thankful for:
“Playing for something bigger than yourself is a privilege and I am lucky to represent and compete for The Ohio State University.” – Danielle Wolf
“Ohio State gave me my best friend! Friendships made here are priceless!” – Kolie Allen
“One of my favorite things about Ohio State is that when you’re on the coast of California, you can yell “O-H” at someone wearing an OSU shirt and you can watch their face light up when they yell “I-O” in return.” – Kathleen Jones
“Thank you for the special and unforgettable moment of having the opportunity to meet President Drake. Looking forward to many more memories such as this one with my favorite Buckeyes.” – Mary Beth Hurley
“I hadn’t played tennis for someone else besides myself and family before I came here. Ohio State taught me how to fight hard for the team, staff and everyone who’s been supporting the Buckeyes. We have a new family every year but we are always playing for the whole family.” – Shiori Fukuda
