
Angerame, Romanik Advance to NCAAs

Columbus, Ohio – Genevieve Angerame (three meter) and Stephen Romanik (one meter) both punched their tickets to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday afternoon at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

Angerame earns her first career trip to the NCAA meet. She scored a readout of 579.50 on the three-meter board to finish in sixth which easily qualified her for the national meet. She will dive at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion next Friday (March 16) in the three-meter competiton.

Romanik qualified for his second NCAA event this afternoon. After clinching a spot on the three meter on Thursday, the senior from Northfield, Ohio, earned the final qualifying spot of the day on the one meter with a score of 650.90 to place 10th.
The final day of competition for the NCAA Zone C diving meet will begin Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.
