- The Buckeyes survived the white out to get out of Happy Valley with a win on Saturday, 27-26
- Facing a 26-14 deficit in the fourth quarter, quarterback Dwayne Haskins threw for two touchdowns in the fourth to secure the lead with 2:03 left to play
- With Penn State needing to convert on 4th and 5, the OSU defense stepped up and shut down the Nittany Lions, sealing the big road win for Ohio State

- The women’s ice hockey team opened its season with a sweep of Quinnipiac over the weekend
- Emma Maltais, Liz Schepers and Madison Field scored in the first game of the series
- Liv Soares notched the first goal in the series finale before Tatum Skaggs lit the lamp twice to lock up the sweep

- Talani Barnett and Izzy Rodriguez scored in Thursday’s game while Devon Kerr stopped all four shots she faced to secure the 16th shutout of her career, moving her into third place in program history
- After falling behind in the first half, it was Izzy Rodriguez again scoring for the Buckeyes to even things up at 1-1 in the second half. Neither team found the back of the net again, settling for a 1-1 tie

- The Buckeyes earned their second Big Ten win against Indiana on Friday
- The lone goal of the game was scored by senior Casey Cole off a penalty corner in the 22nd minute

- Both the men’s team and women’s team had multiple members set new career best times in the Windy City with the women’s team seeing eight new highs, while the men’s team tallied seven new bests
