COLUMBUS, Ohio —In No. 25 Ohio State’s opening match of the Buckeye Invitational, the team fell to Western Kentucky in straight sets (25-17, 25-20, 25-16). Madison Smeathers paced the squad with 10 kills while Ayanna Swan put away eight kills in her first career start.
