
Four Buckeyes Compete in the Southern Intercollegiate

ATHENS, Ga. – Four members of the Ohio State University men’s golf team spent part of Spring Break competing as individuals in the Southern Intercollegiate. Redshirt freshman Jack Mancinotti paced the Buckeye quartet, earning a share of 30th place in the 90-player, one-day, 36-hole event with rounds of 70-77 (+3). His opening round 70 was tied for fourth best among all players.
Jeg Coughlin III finished right behind Mancinotti, a lone stroke back at 4-over (76-72) and tied for 35th place overall. Coughlin III climbed 11 spots up the leaderboard on the strength of his second round 72. Caleb Ramirez made a huge jump in the second go-around, rebounding from 82 by firing home a 3-under 69 in round number two. At 7-over for the day, Ramirez settled in for piece of 47th place.
Max Rosenthal donned the Scarlet & Gray as well, registering rounds of 77-75 (+8) to conclude the event tied for 52nd.
