EUGENE, Ore. — Tee-k Kelly closed out round number two with back-to-back birdies on his last two holes, diving down to even par for the day. He is 1-over through 36 holes and tied for 24th place in the 156-player field. The top nine individuals from non-advancing teams make the cut following Round 3.
Kelly started his ascent out of a three-bogey setback by sinking a birdie on the 18th green after starting his day on Hole #10. He added another birdie four holes later before countering a subsequent bogey with consecutive birdies to end the evening. Kelly ranks second among six golfers competing as individuals and ahead of 55 foes slotted inside the Golfstat Top-100.
He’s crushed it on the Par 4’s, registering an aggregate Par-4 tally of 1-under. That rate ranks him seventh in the entire event.
