Ohio State Finishes Fourth in Robert Kepler Intercollegiate – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – All four team tally contributors for Ohio State placed inside the top-20 individually, resulting in a fourth place team standing in the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. The top Buckeye performer was competing as an individual, however, as Josh Wick recorded the highest finish of his collegiate career in a tie for fourth overall in the 84-player field.
Wick moved up four spots on the second day and into the top-5 on the back of a 1-over 72. He utilized 27 total pars over the weekend, rankings second in the event. Meanwhile, Max Rosenthal paced the entire competition by dropping in eight birdies, pushing Ohio State to a share of first in team birdies at 20 (lineup only; individuals not counted). Rosenthal, cracking the OSU lineup for the first time since the 2013-14 season, rose to the occasion with a T-13th performance. He matched Wick’s opening-round 73 and followed up at 75 on Sunday. Tee-k Kelly settled in right next to Rosenthal, also tied for 13th at 6-over (71-77).
A trio of Buckeyes came in a lone stroke back of Wick and Rosenthal, all tied for 18th on the individual leaderboard at 7-over. Clark Engle and Grant Weaver got to 149 on identical scores of 73-76 while Will Grimmer arrived at the same point by registering rounds of 74-75.
Addison Coll marked the sixth different Buckeye among the top half in the final standings. He carded rounds of 75-76 (+9) to grab a piece of 38th place. Sean Busch (+10) and Caleb Ramirez (+12) donned the Scarlet & Gray as well, earning shares of 44th and 51st place, respectively.
