COLUMBUS, Ohio – The countdown ends today. Tomorrow brings with it the start of new season. Ohio State hopped on an airplane Thursday morning destined for Wyoming and the Rumble in the Rockies (Aug. 28-29). The Buckeyes are set to take on Wyoming, Butler and South Dakota over the weekend.
Kylie Randall, a junior outside hitter, dons the No. 1 jersey and stepped in on the eve of the 2015 season opener for our final ‘Countdown Close-Up.’

Randall played in 13 of the first 14 matches last season, including six starts, before suffering a season-ending injury. She is back healthy for 2015 and ready to add on to her career statistical totals of 260 kills, 52 digs and 44 blocks. The Academic All-Big Ten selection contributed 10 or more points in five matches a year ago, highlighted by a 14-point effort vs. Syracuse (9/12/14).
