Taylor Sandbothe Voted Preseason All-Big Ten – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Taylor Sandbothe, a junior middle blocker, has been voted to the Preseason All-Big Ten squad by the conference’s head coaches. The Buckeye is one of just 14 conference student-athletes to receive this distinction.

Sandbothe enters 2015 ranking top-20 all-time at Ohio State in four career statistical categories, including tied for third with 1.09 blocks per set. Her 55 solo blocks are tied for 13th while also being slotted 19th in school history with both 260 total blocks and a .262 career attacking percentage.
After picking up AVCA All-America honorable mention as a sophomore in 2014, Sandbothe was selected to participate in the first ever Big Ten Foreign Volleyball Tour this summer. The group travelled and competed in several European countries over the span of two weeks.
Sandbothe and the rest of the Buckeyes get the 2015 season started on August 28-29, competing out in Wyoming at the Rumble in the Rockies.
