Ohio State To Hold Tryouts – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State softball will have open tryouts for the 2015-16 campaign Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at Buckeye Field. See below for details:
Monday, August 31 at 5:30 p.m. – Mandatory meeting at Buckeye Field. You must attend this meeting to try out. You also must bring a completed physical within the last 12 months (must come from a M.D. or D.O.).
Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00 p.m. – Tryouts at Buckeye Field. Must bring own equipment – i.e. glove, cleats, helmet, bat, etc.
To try out, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a female Ohio State student on the main Columbus campus
- Bring a valid physical within the last 12 months (must come from a M.D. or D.O.)
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours
Additionally, the softball team practices from 7 a.m.-11 a.m. during the fall semester. Thus, any interested players would need a class schedules that allows for that.
