SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Ohio State University men’s golf team saved its best round for last, carding a 295 (+7) to wrap up a sixth place performance. Sophomore Addison Coll led the charge, dipping under par at 71 in the final round and earning a share of 15th place overall.
Coll provided three scores to the team tally, posting rounds of 74-76-71 (+5) for the first top-25 performance of his career. Grant Weaver was a three-time contributor to the team score as well, putting up ledgers of 74-75-77 (+10) and just missing out on his fifth top-25 finish of the season ending up tied for 26th.
Clark Engle was knocking on the top-25 door, too, matching Weaver’s 10-over effort and also tying for 26th place. Engle penciled in scores of 76-78-72. Boo Timko came out in a tie for 38th place. The native Buckeye shot 74-77-78 going 13-over par.
Tee-k Kelly and Josh Wick also donned the Scarlet & Gray, both grabbing a piece of 45th place at 17-over. Kelly chipped in a pair scores to the team efforts along the way while Wick competed as an individual.
