Wynn Finishes Fifth on Rings at World Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Former Buckeye All-American and national champion Brandon Wynn finished fifth on still rings Sunday at the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
Wynn used a score of 15.600 to earn his second Top 5 finish on rings all-time at the World Championships, having previously won a bronze medal in 2013. Eleftherios Petrounias of Greece won the gold medal with a score of 15.800.
Wynn also helped the United States to a fifth-place finish in team finals, contributing a 15.200 on rings. China won team gold with a score of 270.818, with the U.S. finishing with a score of 267.853.
A two-time NCAA champion and All-American for the Buckeyes from 2008-2011, Wynn is a four-time U.S. national champion on rings. A member of Team Hilton HHonors, he is coached by Buckeye assistant Casimiro Suarez.
