WINDERMERE, Fla. — The Ohio State lineup put forth a balanced effort on Day One of the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational as four Buckeyes each contributed scores of 74 in the opening round. The 8-over (296) team total is good for ninth place out of 15 teams heading into Monday’s second round.
The OSU quartet — Addison Coll, Clark Engle, Tee-k Kelly, Caleb Ramirez — all share a piece of 30th place on the individual leaderboard. Engle and Ramirez both shot even par on the Front 9 before going 2-over on the final nine holes. Ramirez, making his collegiate debut, tied for the team lead with three birdies.
Coll and Kelly matched Ramirez’s three birdies en route to identical 74 totals. Kelly finished 1-over on both the Front and Back 9’s while Coll made a late push and carded an even-par 36 on the final nine holes.
Grant Weaver rounded out the Buckeye lineup, carding a 9-over 82.
