COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophomore Addison Coll has earned top-10 standing through two rounds of the season-opening Northern Intercollegiate, carrying a share of ninth place into Sunday’s final round. As a team, the Buckeyes are slotted fifth out of 13 teams, just three strokes back from second-place Purdue.
Ohio State is 18-over with rounds of 290 and 304. Coll sits at 4-over individually, carding scores of 71 and 77.
Logan Jones and Grant Weaver are in the next tier, a lone shot back at 5-over and tied for 15th place. Jones fired Ohio State’s low tally on Friday with a 70 while Weaver paced the team on Saturday with a 73.
Senior Boo Timko, a regular in the top-25, is knocking on the door once again. The Girard, Ohio native notched rounds of 73-78 for a 7-over total and piece of 26th place. Sean Busch rounds out the Buckeye lineup, contributing a 76 to the team tally on Saturday. With one round to go, he is at 11-over (155) and tied for 43rd.
Redshirt freshman Josh Wick is iin the field as well, playing as an individual. He has carded back-to-back 78s and ascended into the top-50 overall at 12-over.
