COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State softball will have open tryouts for the 2014-15 campaign Sept. 3-4 at Buckeye Field. See below for details:
- Wednesday, September 3 at 5:00 p.m. – Tryout meeting at Buckeye Field. You must attend this meeting to tryout.
- Need to bring your completed physical to this meeting.
- Thursday, September 4 at 5:00 p.m. – Tryouts at Buckeye Field
- Must bring own equipment – for example: glove, cleats, helmet, bat etc.
To tryout you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a female Ohio State student on the main Columbus campus
2. Bring a valid physical within the last 12 months
3. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours
Additionally, the softball team practices from 7 a.m.-11 a.m. during the fall semester. Thus, any interested players would need a class schedules that allows for that.
