COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State will host Pittsburgh in a single game at Buckeye Field on Wednesday, April 30 beginning at 6 p.m. The game is a make-up from a doubleheader at Pittsburgh that was postponed on March 25.
The Buckeyes, which are riding a season-high five-game winning streak, are currently 25-23 overall and 11-9 in the Big Ten. Last week, they swept Penn State in a midweek doubleheader and then took three from Northwestern over the weekend. The Panthers, meanwhile, are 15-25 overall and 6-15 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Offensively, Pitt is led by Carly Thea, who is batting .385 with 24 runs scored and 19 RBI.
