Getting to Know: Tiffany Dittmer – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior Tiffany Dittmer, who has only seen action in two matches because of injuries, has recorded two victories this season. Dittmer prevailed over Toledo’s Katelyn Nguyen to preserve the Buckeye shutout in a super tiebreaker for her first win of the season Jan 23. The Hamburg, Germany, native notched her second win March 23 vs. Youngstown State’s Cimena Puppo in straight sets.
Dittmer played all 21 dual matches at the No. 6 position in 2011-12, posting a 10-11 mark. Last season, the three-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete posted 16 singles win and seven doubles victories. At the conclusion of last season, Dittmer received the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award and Academic All-Big Ten honors. Dittmer holds a 25-24 career singles record and 9-12 career doubles record.
