COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s gymnastics signee Rachel Abrams won the 2012 Level 10 Texas State Championship over the weekend.
Abrams, a competitor at Rowland/Ballard Gymnastics, finished second on vault and uneven bars, fourth on floor exercise and fifth on balance beam to win the all-around with a 37.850 in the Senior D Division.
Abrams, who also excels in the classroom and is in the top five percent of her graduating class at Kingwood High School, will join Maggie Dunn and Audrey Tolbert in Columbus for the 2013 season.
