Manning Wins Third Consecutive Athlete of the Week Award – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – All-American Christina Manning was named Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week Monday by the conference office for the sixth time this season. This is the third consecutive weekly award for Manning who earns the honor this week after competing in the last indoor home meet of her career last Friday.
At the OSU Tune-Up, the senior ran a time of 8.11 in the 60m hurdles, just .01 seconds off of the French Field House record, to finish first. Manning later set a PR of 7.28 in the 60m dash to win her second gold medal. Her time in the 60m dash is now the second-fastest time in Ohio State history, the eighth-best time in the nation and the top time in the Big Ten.
