Alvarez Big Ten Diver Of Week – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State’s Bianca Alvarez picked up Big Ten honors for her weekend performance, sharing women’s diver of the week honors with Indiana’s Amy Cozad.
Alvarez, a senior from Miami, Fla., won the three-meter diving competition Saturday versus Michigan with a score of 360.23, an NCAA zone qualifying mark. This marks the seventh time during her career Alvarez has been named Diver of the Week by the Big Ten.
Ohio State junior Jason Schnur was honored as Big Ten men’s swimmer of the week.
The 8-0 Buckeye women compete in the Shamrock Invitational at Notre Dame on Friday and Saturday.
