COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nine talented student-athletes are set to join the Ohio State women’s track and field team for the 2011-2012 school year.
The 2011 Big Ten indoor and outdoor championships will welcome six Ohio natives and three accomplished out-of-state prospects to campus next fall.
“This is a well rounded class that covers a lot of our needs,” assistant coach Chris Neal said. “As coaches, we really focus on having a well round team and I think this signing class is a good example of that, as we have signed national caliber throwers, jumpers, sprinters, and distance runners.
