Ohio State 13th in CSCAA Initial Poll – Ohio State Buckeyes

Evanston, Illinois – Ohio State ranks 13th in the initial Top 25 poll of Division I women’s teams for 2011-12 as conducted by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The Buckeyes are 4-0 thus far in the young season. This is the highest ranking for Ohio State during the Bill Dorenkott era.
Georgia debuts in the top CSCAA poll spot, although California and Florida picked up 1st place votes.
Minnesota, at 11th, is the only Big Ten school ahead of the Buckeyes; other Big Ten teams in the poll include Indiana (14), Michigan (16) and Purdue (22).
Ohio State swims against Ohio University Saturday in a 1 p.m. dual meet at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
