In the Wake of…The Victory Over Ohio U. – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State defeated Ohio University, 213-87, in Athens Friday, Nov. 12, the team’s first road meet of the season. The Buckeyes won 12 of 13 events with Angela Severn touching first in three individual events – 100 and 200 breaststroke events and the 400 IM – and Bianca Alvarez took first on both the 1- and 3-meter diving competitions to spark the Buckeyes.
Senior Samantha Cheverton and Megan Detro, a sophomore, joined Severn and Alvarez as multi-event winners vs. the Bobcats. Cheverton won the 200 freestyle and the 500 free while Detro was king of the sprints with wins in the 50 free and 100 free.
