Buckeyes Begin Competition at Eck Tennis Classic – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Six members of the Ohio State women’s tennis team began the year at the Eck Tennis Classic hosted by Notre Dame on the UND campus. Buckeye freshmen Noelle Malley and Kelsey Becker each won in the opening round to post the first victory of their collegiate careers.
Sophomore Gabby Steele remains in the blue singles main draw after straight-set wins over Loni Dickerhoff of Dayton and Miami’s Anastasia Dracheva.
Play in the tournament, which includes four singles and three doubles flights, continues Saturday.
