The eight members of the 2009-10 Ohio State women’s tennis team, along with head coach Chuck Merzbacher, assistant coach Sadhaf Pervez and team manager Carrie Smith participated in a “friendraising” event Saturday morning at Muirfield Country Club in Dublin.
The group of Buckeyes demonstrated drills and strategies to the members for improving their tennis game, with the members than participating in the drills. At the end of the session, each member was able to pick a Buckeye to play on the court. The event helped bring awareness to the women’s tennis program and also introduced the newest members of the squad to some of the team’s most loyal fans.
