The junior All-American shares how his first workouts at the Olympic Training Center are going
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior Brandon Wynn is currently at his first career U.S. Men’s Senior National team training camp in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Voorhees, N.J., native made the 2009-10 squad at the VISA Championships last August in Dallas, Texas.
After travelling all day Wednesday, the All-American had his first day of workouts Thursday at the Olympic Training Center and here is what he had to say:
Day 1: I just wanted to let everyone know how my day-to-day workouts are going here at the U.S. National team camp. Today we had two training sessions – one in the morning and one at night.
In between these sessions, we ate lunch and had about an hour of rest time. The energy in the gym is very high leading into the upcoming World Championships in London. We train on every event everyday and do conditioning at the end.
Tomorrow (Friday) we have an intrasquad that is going to show readiness for the existing team members and give the alternates a chance to the earn that last spot. I will keep updating and tell how the intrasquad goes.

Day 2: Hey everybody! The intersquad went great! All the competitors were really prepared and for the most part, everyone hit their routines. I showed my readiness on parallel bars and rings. My routines felt pretty good and it looks like I am going to compete in Germany and the DTB World Cup. So now I have to get back to Columbus and train for the World Cup. There is going to be a lot of great competition and I have two months to get into the best shape of my life.
