Q: What do you miss most about your hometown?
A: My family and friends!
Q: Besides you, who is the most famous person from your hometown?
A: Warren Buffet or Andy Roddick
Q: How often do you get home?
A: about every 4-6 months.. I go in and out during the summer months though.
Q: What do people ask you most about your hometown?
A: If i live on a farm or how the corn is! .. or about the College World Series
Q: What’s the biggest difference between your hometown and Columbus?
A: Columbus is twice the size in population
Q: How would you describe your hometown?
A: It’s half the size of Columbus, but very similar to the city.
Q: How many stoplights are in your hometown?
A: I have no clue. But around my house there’s at least 5 that I get every time!
Q: What is the population of your hometown?
A: About 500,000
Q: How long has your family lived in your hometown?
A: My entire life, so 21 years for me. My parents for about 31 years
Q: What sport/activity is the most popular in your hometown?
A: Baseball (because of the CWS)
Q: What is the tallest building in your hometown?
A: First National Bank Tower
Q: What do visitors to your hometown need to see/do?
A: Go to the zoo for sure! The Old Market downtown is always fun.. and if they can, go to the College World Series!
Q: Is anything interesting made in your hometown?
A: They made the pool for the Olympic qualifiers last year if that counts!
Q: What is the biggest attraction in your hometown?
A: College World Series or the zoo
Q: Most prominent industry/line of work?
A: Food processing, insurance, telecommunications
Q: Is there is local food your hometown is known for?
A: Steaks
Q: How long has your family lived there?
A: My whole life, 21 years… Parents 10 years before that
Q: Any historic event that happened there?
A: In 2004, Omaha Westside High School’s Girl’s Tennis Team swept the Metro Tennis Championships against Rival Omaha Marian High School
Q: Your favorite place in your hometown?
A: My house!
