SB:Ohio State Final Day of NFCA Leadoff Classic Cancelled – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ga. The third and final day of the NFCA Leadoff Classic has been cancelled because of extensive rain and forecasted winter weather in Central Georgia. The Ohio State softball team wrapped play Saturday night with a 5-0 win over Illinois State, giving it a 3-0 record in the tourney and a 15-3 mark overall.

The Buckeyes have an off weekend next weekend before returning to action March 13 vs. Loyola (Ill.) at the Courtyard by Marriott Cardinal Tournament in Louisville, Ky. They have four more scheduled games over the weekend against UIC, Louisville and two vs. Eastern Michigan.
