Buckeyes in the Community – Ohio State Buckeyes

All eight members of the 2009-10 Buckeye’s women’s tennis team attended the New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix and Family Day Sept. 27 to help raise money for the Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence. Joining the players was assistant coach Sadhaf Pervez and with volunteer student-assistant and former Buckeye Julie Blackmore.

The event, hosted by Les and Abigail Wexner, featured a 25-team horse Jump competition and a performance by singer Jordin Sparks. The Buckeyes showed their spirit by cheering on the jumpers and signing autographs. The final tally on fundraising topped $1 million for the coalition.
