Audio: Catching Up with Former Buckeye Gymnasts – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio Miles Avery, Ohio State men’s gymnastics head coach, and Doug Stibel, Buckeye assistant coach and former gymnast (1996-99), welcomed the program’s alumni back for its inaugural alumni weekend Sept. 19-21 in Columbus.
While in town, the group of former Buckeye student-athletes and supporters visited the university, watched the 2009 Buckeye team practice, attended the Ohio State-Troy football game and reminisced about their competitive careers at a cookout hosted by Stibel.
In all, 14 Buckeye letterwinners returned to Columbus for the weekend, including Donald Perry, Ohio State’s first All-American gymnast, and Mike Sexton, co-host of the World Poker Tour which airs on the Game Show Network.
